7.77 Average on the Dwyer Clock + Written Review

Quite a nice average for me, and fairly consistent counting times too. I think I overinspected the 3rd solve but as it’s not a major PB or something like that I don’t really mind about it. The Dwyer Clock is a Lingao magnetised and Setup by Patrick Dwyer (@cubing_mosaics_pd), and will cost in the £20-25 region, so I’d say fairly reasonably priced for a magnetic clock. It comes really well packaged with bubble wrap and a card showing which number one you have. The tape used on the clock is Gorilla Tape, and so far shows no signs of peeling. I’ve had this clock for 4 days and have done over 800 solves on it so far. The magnets have a smaller diameter than most magnetic clocks, so it has a lighter click, which I prefer, as it uses less force and I can have a higher TPS as a result of it. The clock is lubed with Traxxas 30k, and the clock has a smooth feel, but I don’t feel as though I’m overshooting. I do have some issues with pins locking, but these occur very rarely (maybe once every 100-150 solves), and I’d say it’s an issue with my turning rather than the clock. My clock average has dropped from 8.9 to 8.6 since receiving it, and I have broken all my PBs on it, including a 5.40 Single and a 7.40 Average of 5.
