This gameplay was recorded using an ASUS RTX 4060 8GB GPU and a Ryzen 7 5700X CPU. Natively, the RTX 4060 runs this game in 4K on ultra settings at a variable frame rate between 50 and 60 fps. Because of that, I enabled DLSS in Ultra Quality mode, which boosted performance to around 80 fps — with peaks reaching 100 fps and even 200 fps! DICE did an excellent job here: this game is visually stunning and surprisingly lightweight, so much so that it runs in 4K on a GPU that technically isn’t designed for that resolution. Star Wars Battlefront II – Resurrection Campaign After the fall of the Empire, chaos spreads across the galaxy. Iden Versio, once an elite commander of the Empire’s fearsome Inferno Squad, now fights for a different future — one of freedom, hope, and redemption. But peace is fragile. In the shadows, the First Order rises. When her daughter, Zay, is drawn into the center of a mysterious conflict, Iden must return to the battlefield for one final mission. Her past as an Imperial elite collides with her present as a mother and freedom fighter. Across war-torn worlds and shattered alliances, Iden will confront the remnants of her past, the weight of her choices, and the dark power threatening the galaxy’s fragile future. This is the final chapter of Inferno Squad. This is Resurrection. Star Wars Battlefront II – DICE’s Epic Take on the Galaxy Far, Far Away Star Wars Battlefront II, developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts, is a visually stunning, action-packed shooter that brings the vast Star Wars universe to life like never before. Released in 2017 and built on the powerful Frostbite engine, the game features breathtaking graphics, immersive sound design, and large-scale battles across iconic planets from all three Star Wars trilogies. The game offers a rich mix of single-player and multiplayer experiences. The single-player campaign follows the story of Iden Versio, an elite commander of the Empire’s Inferno Squad, as she witnesses the fall of the Empire and faces difficult choices in a fractured galaxy. The story bridges the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, offering original lore and emotional depth. Multiplayer is where Battlefront II truly shines. With modes like Galactic Assault, Supremacy, Starfighter Assault, and Heroes vs Villains, players can take part in massive online battles featuring up to 40 players. You can fight as iconic characters like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Rey, Kylo Ren, and even obscure fan favorites like Bossk or Iden Versio herself. Space battles are fully integrated, with fast-paced dogfights and cinematic visuals that make you feel like you're in a Star Wars movie. After a controversial launch due to its original progression system, the game underwent significant updates and rebalancing. DICE removed pay-to-win mechanics and overhauled the progression system, earning back the trust of much of the player base. By 2020, Battlefront II: Celebration Edition was widely praised as one of the best Star Wars shooters ever made, offering all cosmetic content unlocked and hundreds of hours of replay value. Whether you're fighting on the forest moon of Endor, piloting a TIE Fighter above the ruins of the Death Star, or dueling lightsabers in the halls of Theed Palace, Star Wars Battlefront II delivers an authentic and thrilling experience for fans of both the franchise and competitive shooters.
