One of the easiest Himalayan Treks above Tree Line at more than 10 thousand feet. "Valley of Flowers" in Uttarakhand is an amazing experience, done solo at advanced age. It is a single day Trek on stone paved path. "Valley of Flowers" is surrounded by high glacier clad mountains, accessible only via Ghangharia gorge. It can be reached via Delhi to Haridware/Rishikesh to Govindghat and then an easy 10 km trek to Ghangharia and then next day 4 km to Valley of Flowers (VOF).
