Chris Birch aka BUFFYDOOD As Sunnydale High prepares for graduation, Faith escalates the situation by striking directly at Buffy’s heart, poisoning Angel in an attempt to distract her. When the gang discovers the only cure is for Angel to “drain the blood of a Slayer,” Buffy makes the ultimate decision to bring him one, leading to an intense and epic final battle, Slayer against Slayer. Joined by the Buffy doodle dude himself, Chris Birch, who grants some interesting perspectives on the episode. The three of us speak on how convenient Angel is as a distraction for the plot, hear Courtney’s thoughts on viewing this showdown between our Slayers for the first time, all while raving about that final Season 3 confrontation fight between them. We get real about Buffy’s decision to quit the Council, highly suggestive toward Willow and Oz grabbing a hot shower after their “panicking,” and give major praise to Wesley for being a standout Watcher.  How do you feel about Buffy and Faith finally going head to head.
