Press Conference on U.S military intervention in Iraq and Syria

There is no doubt that ISIL is a terrifying force that must be stopped. However, U.S military intervention will not bring stability to the region. In fact it is U.S policy that has created the turmoil and empowered the ISIL in the first place. We cannot be part of the problem. We need to take a stand to be part of the solution. That means no arms to Syria, no air raids in Iraq and MORE diplomacy, humanitarian aid and avoiding the cyclic trap of “mission creep”!
