Hello everyone 👋🏾 for those of you who don’t know me, I’m Bella & I come from #Oakland Ca. I was a #Livestreamer during #OccupyOakland protests & traveled to #LosAngeles #Ferguson #NewYork & #LasVegas fighting for #BasicHumanRights #CivilRights & trying my absolute best to highlight muted voices in communities of color. Then I had a baby and was wrecked by my immobility & the transition into a new life when I was fighting so passionately. Being a mother brought so many challenges. Full stop. 🛑🗣SO MANY CHALLENGES!! Keeping my baby safe was more than just fighting political injustices via grassroots movements and it had to be because I had a new baby and he was my first priority, and still is five years later. One of my struggles was fighting back against using harmful products on his skin because they were so readily available. Being raised by my Grandmother she taught me several uses of various plants and home remedies. We NEVER went to the hospital for being sick. We had to break something to go to the dr for anything aside from getting immunized or having a physical for school.
