7 Jan Jn 2, 1-11 "They have no more wine"

Gospel John 2:1-11 At that time, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, to which Jesus' mother was present. Jesus and his disciples were also invited. When the wine was running out, Mary said to Jesus, "They have no more wine." Jesus replied, "Woman, what can you and I do? My hour has not yet come." But she said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." Now there were six stone water jars, each holding about 250 gallons, used for Jewish rituals. Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water." And they filled them to the brim. Then he said to them, "Now draw some out and take it to the steward." So they did, and as soon as the steward tasted the water that had become wine, without knowing its origin, for only the servants knew, he called the bridegroom and said to him, "Everyone serves the best wine first, and when the guests have had enough, the regular wine is served. You, however, have kept the best wine until now." This was the first of his signs that Jesus did in Cana of Galilee. Thus he revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
