Ep 234 | Fitting Our New Precision Sails, Rosshaven Boatyard, Sailing Nutshell

We’re up on the hard at the Rosshaven Marine boatyard. It’s time to sort the new sails out. Magnus begins by putting the new staysail on the Reefurl furler which we installed quite some time ago in 35 knot winds! Meanwhile Wendy is busy painting the plinth for the new toilet to go in later on. Nutshell gets her first coat of bottom paint which is a primer coat to bind the new antifoul brand to. Magnus removes the old mizzen sail which is literally falling apart in his hands and installs the new crisp, white mizzen in its place. We open one of the curries which we canned over a year ago to see what it has turned out like. We both survive! Thanks for watching.
