This month's tour of our garden was filmed August 2. July was more of the hot and dry, and our garden continued to require more supplemental water than normal. We canned gallons and gallons of dill pickles for the coming year, been enjoying a beautiful bounty of tomatoes, the just right amount of summer squash, devoured our modest sweet corn crop just this past week, and still not enough beans rolling in to satisfy our taste buds. Disease pressure is no joke this year, despite the drought; I wonder if it's exacerbating plant stress, causing other issues to crop up.
