Yamaha PSR is a lower class arranger than the Yamaha Genos which is currently the flagship model, but that does not mean that the PSR is in any way less significant and that is not a professional keyboard. Almost identical to the Korg's offerings, Yamaha has keyboards for everyone's pocket, so we have a very expensive Genos in the Pa4X class, then the PSR-S975 which is in the Pa1000 class and the PSR-S775 in the Pa700 range. Yamaha PSR arrangers are very powerful and carry most of the advanced features and identical sound quality from the Genos model, the price difference is reflected mainly in the peripherals: number of octaves, keys quality, number of effects, amount of memory, number of audio outputs, and the number of factory sounds and styles included. Due to the significantly lower price, the PSR is an extremely good buy where you can find professional quality with a relatively low price.
