To make them vanish, the player must connect four crystals of the same color. By forming a chain or connecting five or more crystals together, players can score combos. A few crystals that resemble stars occasionally appear; whenever they are connected to three other crystals, they grant the player a star. The star enables the player to shake the basket in an effort to connect perhaps a few more crystals. Bigger crystals occasionally fall against the players' will, but by forming combos beforehand, they can be broken for extra points. With each pairing of three other crystals, said larger crystals start to get smaller until they are back to their normal size. When a player earns 1,000 points in the single-player mode, red crystals are added, and the game is over when one of them falls out of the basket. In multiplayer, the opponent's creation of combos triggers larger crystals.
