"Greyson Martin Kessler, our sunshine, age 4, was tragically murdered by his father in a murder-suicide on May 21st, 2021. While our family mourns, we need assistance with funeral costs, lawyer costs and fees, and general life expenses for Alison Kessler, his mother as she attempts to carry on daily tasks while living every parents’ worst nightmare. The police, child protective services, and the criminal justice system failed Greyson and Ali, who filed multiple emergency orders to get Greyson safely away from the father, who had been sending threatening text messages and emails to Ali, and exhibited frightening behavior. Ali made being a single parent look effortless. She worked full time, and did everything she could to support Grey despite harassment from John. You could tell Ali and Grey adored each other- they were inseparable. This fundraiser is to help Ali afford living expenses, and any other expenses that arise as a result of this immense loss. Greyson was sunshine in a tiny human body. He exuded joy and loved everyone he met without hesitation. When Grey was born, we nicknamed him ‘Gigs’ because he was always smiling and laughing. He was the best of all of us, a shining light in a world that can be so dark. Ali and him were two peas in a pod- inseparable. He was loved and adored by everyone he met. The world lost a star, and we are all worse off for it. Grey was my best friend. His smile was infectious.
