Fruits/dry fruits/milk/Butter/a special naivedyam made of channa and sugarcane etc will be offered to God as naivedya. The main item of the day is a sweet made of broken wheat,green gram dal,Bengal gram dal,coconut scrapping and jaggery and is named “Panchagadhay”.The devotees observe “Vratham" on this day and avoid taking rice items and eat only fruits or light refreshments made of wheat rava or food grains.In this video we are showing the preparation of Panchagadhay in detail.Please watch it to understand the step by step process.
