Prelude and Fugue Friday Week 5

Chopin Prelude in C-sharp minor Op. 28, no. 10 Bach Prelude and Fugue in C-sharp minor BWV 849 This week we have a sweeping Chopin Prelude with some interesting figurations, a sombre Bach prelude, and a 5-voice fugue! If you've been wondering what a fugue is over the past few weeks, a fugue is a piece of music with one theme that intertwined between a number of parts. Each voice enters one at a time with the theme and then moves on to something else. The theme is often heard throughout the piece. Fugues are so fun to play and listen to because you listen to see if you can hear the theme throughout the piece. This fugue has 5 voices, so it's quite technically difficult. I hope you enjoy!
