Medium Heidi Klum STARS WALK RED CARPET AHEAD OF MTV'S EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS IN GERMANY Music's finest gathered together at Frankfurt's historic Festhalle Sunday night as they walked the red carpet ahead of the 19th annual 2012 MTV EMA. Chinese Mando pop singer Han Geng was one of the first ones to arrive at the red carpet. He feels very honored to be nominated for best worldwide act (Asia Pacific). "I feel honored to be nominated here." he said at the red carpet. Connor Maynard learned in his short career to behave like a professional artist. He is tempted to touch his idols still but has it under control now. Lana Del Rey was rather surprised that he received a nomination as best newcomer among Rita Ora, Fun, One Direction and Carly Rae Jepsen. It's just funny, that they even nominated me." Rita Ora hope to get awarded but said at the red carpet if she doesn't get an award tonight, there is always a chance to win next year. Country star Taylor Swift is excited to be at the EMA's for the first time - with her multiple nominations. "It's amazing to have five nominations. The show is set to be a battle of the women as Rihanna and Taylor Swift go head to head, topping the nominations with six and five nods respectively. Supermodel and local girl Heidi Klum is this year's host with performers including Taylor Swift, Muse, No Doubt, Alicia Keys, Pitbull, The Killers and Psy. Last year's EMAs in Belfast was the event's most watched telecast ever with more than 39 million viewers worldwide.
