We left Portugal to cycle the world

In this episode, we are finally taking our first steps (or rotations?) in the journey to the other side of the world! After months of preparations, it’s finally time to say goodbye to our family and friends, old and new, and starting from Museu do Ciclismo de Caldas da Rainha (Renata’s hometown) ride all the way across Portugal. On the way, we suffer in the scorching heat of late summer, cooling off in every body of water we can find, fill our bellies with sweet and juicy figs, and face the first challenges of the trip!
