Five years of Citizens' Climate Lobby in Canada - There is still hope

On June 26, 2010 Marshall Saunders, the founder, and president of Citizens' Climate Lobby recruited a Canadian to his visionary organization. Five years later CCL volunteers are creating the political will for a liveable world in over 60 ridings in Canada. As a collective they have lobbied on Parliament Hill eight times and countless times in their home ridings. In total, they have lobbied 91 federal parliamentarians and 45 provincial parliamentarians for a revenue-neutral carbon tax, many of them repeatedly. With the support of CCL international, a central organizing office in Canada and because of the hard work of hundreds of volunteers across Canada, Citizens' Climate Lobby Canada has much credibility on Parliament Hill.
