First Mahi Mahi (Dolphin fish) - Kayak Fishing Sunshine Coast

MAHI MAHI!! from my kayak...was not expecting that.... A bucket list fish for any angler the Mahi Mahi (Dolphin fish) is a prize table fish and I did not expect to catch one from my kayak in such close proximity to land. Location: Sunshine Reef, Noosa Australia A fairly quiet trip turned into a very exciting one for us at Sunshine reef, a spot that holds a wide variety of species, although they have been known to be here they are usually far from paddle range. the runs and jumps from this one were very exciting - hope you enjoy.
