Want to learn how to get beach waves with your flat iron? Well, you’ve come to the right place. I’ll show you my technique for getting fun big waves in your hair using the babyliss pro flat into. In this video, I did a tutorial on how to get beachy waves using a flatiron! This look may look different depending on your hair length and type, but I just wanted to show the process on how to achieve some cute waves! I used a babyliss pro 3100 flat iron, though you do not need to have that flat iron in order to do this look. I would still recommend the flat iron I used though! First you need to start with splitting your hair into two parts, it is much easier to section your hair before curling. Normally, I would have done the front of my hair first, but for this look I started with the back since I have longer hair. If you have short hair I would say to start from the bottom sections, and work your way up. I had my flat iron heated up to 380 degrees. The flat iron I used was specifically made for curling your hair, but like I said earlier, you can use any normal flatiron. You are going to take that section, then take your flatiron and lift it upwards a little bit, and ribbon it (Pulling it as if you were to pull a ribbon). I will then move my flat iron downwards, and repeat these actions. And I am doing about an inch in length between the curls. I was grabbing decently long chunks. For each curl, you want to make sure you are starting by going upwards. You are going to repeat these steps for each chunk you do. This look is not perfect, and is more of a messy beachy wave. If you have shorter hair, this look will most likely be faster for you to do since you do not have to do the waves as long since you have less hair to work with. I kind of pulled when adding waves to my hair. With the bottom strands of hair I like to curl down instead of up, so that the bottom strands are facing inward, making everything look neater. You are able to personalize this look a bit depending on what you think looks best. For example, you can start the waves all the way at the top of your head, but I prefer for it to be straight at the top of my head. If you want to start the curls at the very top of your head, you can section off the top hairs in order to get those curled right at the top. If you want to, you can mess up the hair a little bitt, and add some product, and get volume. I wouldn't recommend combing this through unless you have a very wide toothed comb. You do not want it to get too poofy. So all you have to do is follow these steps through all of your sections, and your are done! Now you have a super cute looking messy beachy wave! This looks good on all hair lengths! I hope you guys like this look, make sure to like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoyed this makeup look, and stay tuned for more videos!!
