(Slightly shifting his hair and looks, smoking, etc. to actually acting like him, pushing people around him away.) ➔ He doesn't like smoking (I think canonically he hates cigarettes and stuff, right?), but still smokes because it reminds him of Wilbur. The small bitter feeling and choking sensation + the overall smell make it feel like Wilbur is with him again. ➔ He knows Wilbur isn't fully to blame (think?), but he also can't forgive him. But after all, he's done, and finally being in Wilburs place, he's starting to understand why Wilbur did it, and although he still half blames him, the other half of him nagging himself to forget it, because deep inside he had already forgiven Wilbur since the start.
