USWNT Hopes To End The 2020 Tokyo Olympics With A Bronze Medal

ATLANTA, GEORGIA—Despite losing the chance to compete for the gold medal, the USA’s women’s soccer team (USWNT) is still focused on ending its 2020 Tokyo Olympics campaign with a bronze medal. USWNT coach Vlatko Andonovski told the media the team will do their best to beat Australia in their battle for a third-place match this week. “Just because it didn’t happen doesn’t mean it stops there. We go into every game to win it. At the end of the day, it’s a medal at the Olympics. We’re going to do anything possible,” Andonovski said. The USWNT was knocked out of the competition for the gold medal by Canada, ending its bid to become the first team to win a World Cup and Olympics back-to-back. One of the members of USWNT is our very own women’s soccer star, Kelley O’Hara. Link to the full article: https://atlantasoccer.news/uswnt-hope...
