In Sweden, an average of 58% of kids with Autism have problem with school absence due to lack of special needs skills among schools and teachers. Thousands children, and their families, faces harsh consequences. It is common for families to get reported to the social service, parents need to quit their jobs when their small children no longer attend school. Home schooling is more or less forbidden and the Autistic children are left without support. Mulán is one of many who've been forces out of school this way. In this episode we share our story and what we believe are good ways for school to attend to children with special needs.
