Gaanavarshini Felicitates Smt. Sudha Ragunathan

On April 30, 2015, Gaanavarshini, a leading classical Indian Music School in Canada, organized a grand felicitation function for one of the most prominent and leading artists, and a recent recipient of "Padma Bhushan" award from the President of India, Smt. Sudha Ragunathan, who was on a visit to Canada. Mrs. Sandhya Srivatsan, the Artistic Director, Mr. Srivatsan Varadan, Managing Director and Sridaya Srivatsan of Gaanavarshini, had arranged a workshop for aspiring Carnatic students living in the Greater Toronto Area, that was conducted by Smt. Sudha Ragunathan. At the conclusion of the same, the felicitation was arranged. The function was attended by a packed audience at the SVBF Temple Hall. The chief guest of honour was the Indian Consul General of India in Toronto, H.E. Akilesh Mishra along with his wife Neeti Mishra and Dr. Lakshman, the President of SVBF Temple.
