Identity Theft Credit Card Skimmer 5632 Ridge Ave DC 22 05 016603

The PPD Northwest Detective Division is attempting to identify the individual responsible for this identity theft. On November 26, 2022, at 5632 Ridge a 7-11 employee found a credit card skimmer and small camera attached to the store ATM. Video surveillance recovered from the 7-11 showed a white male enter the store on November 25, 2022, at 11:01AM and goes directly to the ATM. The store employee later told police she noticed that same male at the ATM was acting suspicious. The following day the store employee found the device and called police. The device was found to be recording credit cards and the pass codes people were typing onto the number pad. If you see this suspect, do not approach, contact 911 immediately.
