In this video, I take on the challenge of building a fully functional, Xbox-controlled paintball turret. Using an ESP32, high-torque stepper motors, 3D-printed parts, and a whole lot of wiring, I created a remote-controlled system that you can aim and fire just like in a video game. You’ll see the full build process — from connecting the Xbox controller over Bluetooth, designing and assembling the turret frame, wiring up the firing system, and testing it on some very real targets. And because overkill is kind of the whole point… I added a second paintball gun by the end. This was easily one of my most chaotic (and fun) builds — and it works pretty well.
