Meta has updated how this feature works, and it’s now managed through the immersive home interface, rather than the traditional Settings menu. To get started, pick up your left Oculus controller and press the menu button. This action brings up the immersive home interface. Within this interface, look for the 'Scenery' tab. Once you open this tab, you’ll see several background environments available for selection. You may need to download some of these backgrounds before applying them. Simply choose the one you want, select 'Switch Scenery,' and wait a few seconds for the new environment to load. Once it's ready, your home background will automatically switch to the selected scenery, giving you a new visual experience whenever you're on the Quest home screen. This customization does not affect performance and is purely visual, allowing you to enhance your VR experience with environments that fit your personal preference—whether that’s a futuristic space station, a tranquil forest, or a modern home.
