The Book of John (Amplified), Chapters 2 & 3

WHY? I have been a fan of the Amplified Bible for quite some time as it has deeply impacted my study and understanding of God’s Word. Since I was unsuccessful in finding an audio version; I sensed God prompting me to create one, beginning with the gospels, and starting with the book of John. FLAWED Full transparency: There are known flaws. My former “perfectionist and critical” self was troubled when I found them. So I took it to God, in writing (my journal) and asked Him, “How can I get past what I didn’t get right?” and I sensed Him saying: “You were obedient. Give the project to me. Put it into my hands and I can make everything beautiful. Surrender it all to me...however, it is my Word being spoken so there is no way you can destroy it. I inhabit my Word. There is power in my Word and what I intended to happen with it will happen.” REFLECTIONS Yes, at times, it was overwhelming! Throughout the process the questions came: “Am I doing this right?” “Did Jesus say it this way?” “Is my interpretation completely wrong?” I finally had to rest in the fact that I would NEVER get it 100% correct, but I could bring what I heard as I read to life. THE PROJECT At this point I have recorded the full book of John that you will find in smaller segments (fifteen minutes or less). Please subscribe to my channel so you are able to listen to the complete Book of John and are aware of future releases. It is my hope to eventually record all of the gospels. GLORY! Throughout this project I gained a deeper knowledge, understanding, love, and relationship of/with my Savior, Jesus Christ. I enjoyed working on this powerful book and I am thankful to the Lockman Foundation for allowing me to share a portion of the Amplified Bible with you.
