Self-Publishing "Mistakes" I make as an Indie Author | Self-Publishing Diaries
OPEN ME!: If you spend any amount of time researching "how to self-publish" or "how to be an indie author" you'll find countless Facebook groups, podcasts, blogs, books, and more offering advice. Most of this advice is great, but all of it is just that, advice. There very few actual rules, most things just depend on your book, what you hope to achieve with it, and how much time and/or money you have to invest in it. There are many ways forwards when you self-publish and we're all on our own timeline. You should start in a way that you are comfortable with and gradually perfect your process.
