First Reading: 2 Samuel 11:1-4,5-10,13-17 Psalm 51:3-4,5-6ab,6cd-7,10-11 Have Mercy, O Lord, for we have sinned. Acclamation: Matthew11:25 Alleluia Alleluia. Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have revealed to little children the mysteries of the kingdom. Alleluia. Gospel: Mark 4:26-34 The Parable of the Growing Seed and The Parable of the Mustard seed. The parables of the grains and mustard seed remind us that the seeds we sow have the power to produce an abundant harvest or become a refuge for others. However, as King David's story warn us, even a tiny seed of sin can grow into a destructive force. Jesus teaches that our words and actions flow from the fullness of our hearts. Take a moment and reflect on the seeds you are sowing. Look inward, not outward. Nurture the unseen growth of your heart and the visible fruits of your life will follow. Let us always seek God's wisdom and cling on to His world. God bless us all.
