Ernest here is a three-month-old little red flying fox. He was born prematurely when his mum went into labour early after being caught on a barbed wire fence. After not being able to even open his eyes for the first week, he's gone from strength to strength and is now climbing all over the place and ready to start flying. _____ These animals are not pets, but protected wildlife in care under a rehabilitation permit.
