Meanwhile inside, the catwalk venue was transformed into a launderette for the occasion, complete with 'laundry' signs and rows of washing machines. Stripes, logos and denim dominated the catwalk, as models appeared in ripped jeans paired with stripe covered t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts and jackets, or logo sweatshirts and tees. Shirts were worn open to the navel, paired with leather jackets and jeans or suits. A sprinkling of female models appeared in denim shorts and ripped t-shirts, tied to reveal coloured underwear. Some male models flashed their underwear too, continuing the trend of wearing jeans slung low enough to show off the D&G logo on the band of shorts beneath. The show finished by taking the fashion reveal one step further, in a flourish reminiscent of a famous Levi jeans advert of the 1980s. A group of male models stripped off their shirts and jeans, and put them into the rows of washing machines, before taking their leave in their underwear.
