Solo Rainstorm Camping in a Hidden Shelter - Wilderness Survival

I'm hiking over 20km deep into the New Zealand backcountry in search of a hidden bush shelter that doesn’t appear on any maps. After hours of solo travel through thick forest and river valleys, I found the shelter - just as the rainstorm got worse. With no mattresses and just a hard wooden floor to sleep on, I made camp and did my best to stay warm and dry. I cooked up some of the best food I’ve had in the bush: gourmet burgers, bacon, hot chocolates, and even campstove s'mores. Filmed in the New Zealand wilderness. Rainstorm survival. Solo camping.
