The World's Longest Consistantly Running AC/DC Tribute Band. Formed (and still based) in Melbourne,Victoria,Australia in 1990...AND still featuring its original lead singer - Alfi Rocker (also here on facebook)... DIRTY DEEDS quickly earned its reputation as one of Australia's best tribute bands and has always delvered 100% in effort, giving the audience an experience as close to a real AC/DC CONCERT as possible. Originally formed to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the late,great AC/DC singer "BON SCOTT" in 1990, and before long DIRTY DEEDS became one of the biggest drawcards of the Melbourne pub-rock scene,performing to large audiences everywhere and headlining events in all major towns and venues throughout Victoria, including large outdoor concerts such as BROADFORD 1994,1995 and 1996, THE PHILLIP ISLAND MOTO G.P.2002 & 2009,and THE SHEPPARTON CUSTOM BIKE & HOTROD SHOW 2004,2006 and 2007 & 2010, just to name a few! Interstate and even Oversea's requests for this band to go and perform are common.In October 2010 the 1st South Australian dates were booked and successfully accomplished. At an outdoor concert in Tasmania,(1992) DIRTY DEEDS was honoured to be joined onstage by a legend of Australian Rock, Mr.ANGRY ANDERSON himself,as he Lead Singer "ALFI ROCKER" belted out together the ROSE TATTOO classics "BAD BOY FOR LOVE" and "ROCK 'N ROLL OUTLAW". A memory to cherish.. Back in Melbourne during the 1990's,DIRTY DEEDS rocked and ruled venues such as THE PALACE St.Kilda, THE CORNER Hotel and THE CENTRAL CLUB Hotel in RICHMOND, The legendary "BELL Street ROCK",BILLBOARD in Russell St.City, TRANSFORMERS,The BURVALE Hotel,The SANDOWN PARK Hotel,The VILLAGE GREEN Hotel,The FERNTREE GULLY Hotel...the list goes on and on.. In 1995/96 DIRTY DEEDS was selected to launch AC/DC'S "BALLBREAKER" album to a capacity crowd at THE PALACE St.Kilda,opening up the concert with the new single "HARD AS A ROCK". In FEB 1998,BON SCOTTS 18th anniversary memorial,DIRTY DEEDS absolutely packed out THE GREYHOUND HOTEL in St.Kilda,opening up the concert with the just released ,rare track "Dirty Eyes" from the "BONFIRE" collection.The audience went wild.What a night to remember. Entering the new century in the year 2000,DIRTY DEEDS also entered a new chapter in it's career by expanding the setlist and adding the later AC/DC "BRIAN JOHNSON" classic's,such as "HELLS BELLS","YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG",of course the mighty "THUNDERSTRUCK",(and now the latest classic-"ROCK'N ROLL TRAIN"),The response from the audience both old and new was instantly a success! During the 2000's DIRTY DEEDS has rocked THE MERCURY LOUNGE at The CROWN COMPLEX,The DORSET GARDENS Hotel on a regular basis, outselling every other band there, and dozens of country Victoria towns. Again chosen to launch another AC/DC album- the latest gem "BLACK ICE" on the official day of release in October 2008,DIRTY DEEDS put on a mighty fine show,held at RETRO HARD ROCK CLUB- "BACK IN THE DAY" Year after year,show after show,with the rare talent from a lead singer doing justice to both era's of AC/DC,the BON SCOTT and the BRIAN JOHNSON, DIRTY DEEDS keeps on delivering the HIGH VOLTAGE rock'n roll of Australia's greatest, the worlds most successful rockband-AC/DC!!
