Imran Khan gets reprieve in all cases ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday granted PTI chief Imran Khan protective bails in all cases lodged against him across the country with a two-day protective bail in cases lodged in Islamabad and a 10-day protective bail in all cases lodged in Lahore. A two-member bench, comprising Justice Tariq Mehmood Jehangiri and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir, granted him bails. It adds to reliefs given to Mr Khan by the IHC including the court's orders to bar security forces from arresting Mr Khan in any case lodged after May 9 until May 17, and to stop proceedings in the Toshakhana case filed by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against Mr Khan for allegedly concealing gifts. It could be seen in the TV footage that a huge number of people and lawyers had gathered outside the court. One of the cases was Ali Bilal alias Zille Shah's murder. Zille Shah was purportedly murdered amid PTI's protests in Lahore with Punjab police nominating Mr Khan in his murder case. On the other hand, PTI claimed that Mr Shah had been murdered by th police. Mr Khan had moved the court on protective bails in four cases including Zille Shah’s murder case. Reports said that law enforcement agencies were still present outside the court despite court's orders barring them from arresting Mr Khan, raising suspicions that he might be arrested again. #islamabadhighcuort #imrankhan #imrankhanbail Welcome to the official channel of Dunya News.
