In the latest development, BJP is all set to hold a protest at Jantar Mantar against the allegation of 'Terrorist' made by Kumar Vishwas on Arvind Kejriwal. Breaking his silence on the 'Khalistani' allegations leveled against him, Delhi CM and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal today questioned why no one had arrested him to date if it was true. Dismissing both Congress and BJP's 'terror' allegations on him, he pointed out that Rahul Gandhi first raised the issue, followed by PM Modi and then Priyanka Gandhi - accusing all parties of conspiring against AAP. Ex-AAP leader and poet Kumar Vishwas has accused Kejriwal of supporting separatism and wishing to be 'PM of independent Punjab'. The border state goes to polls on February 20 and results will be announced on March 10. "Rahul Gandhi was the first to put that allegation, next day PM Modi voiced the same allegations. Then Priyanka Gandhi talks about it. No one takes Rahul Gandhi seriously. But look at it, who thought PM Modi will become Rahul Gandhi one day? My offices and home have been raided - they got nothing. They should be grateful to that poet who has 'caught' such a big terrorist," he asked. Congress MP Manish Tewari on Friday appeared to rebuke Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for allegedly using a derogatory term for people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Earlier this week, Channi had appealed to voters to not let “bhaiya” from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Delhi enter Punjab. While the Congress claimed the remark was aimed at AAP leaders, the BJP and AAP lashed out at the chief minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to the comments at a rally and asked Channi whether he could use such language for “the land where Guru Ravidas and Sikh Guru Gobind Singh were born”. Manish Tewari, who is the MP for Anandpur Sahib, tweeted about the secular and tolerant ethos of Punjab. He wrote, “The Bhaiya controversy is like the Afro-American issue in the U.S . It is reflective of an unfortunate systemic & institutionalized social bias against migrants stretching back to the inception of the Green Revolution.” #ArvindKejriwal #KumarVishwas #ArvindKejriwalReaction #PunjabPolls2022 #IndiaToday Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
