#7 - March Compilation

(Includes a little surprise) - Featuring bad drivers, random encounters and a couple mistakes by me probably iPhone 4S Clips: Clip 1 - Can you see me now? Clip 2 - Taxi sits at the green light and the car behind honks. Clip 3 - Peugeot's last minute decision. I'm lane splitting but get blocked in by the Mini. Clip 4 - A mile of traffic because police had blocked the roundabout so paramedics could attend the scene of an accident. Clip 5 - Mercedes with its hazards and reverse lights on at the side of the road causes drivers to swerve. Clip 6 - Traffic stops suddenly because of a blue Toyota and armoured van stopped immediately after the intersection. Clip 7 - My first sighting of a Renault Twizy electric vehicle. I don't think the driver appreciated my sarcastic thumbs up. Clip 8 - Police seemingly come out of nowhere as I'm trying to navigate a clogged up Piccadilly Circus. Clip 9 - Kids riding into oncoming traffic. The Peugeot 306 in front of the Mazda 2 honks at them (Difficult to hear). Oh, and a dead pigeon. Clip 10 - I didn't want to sit right next to the policeman's wing mirror at the lights so I decided to wait behind a smoker instead. Clip 11 - Ped plays chicken. Clip 12 - Red light runner. Clip 13 - Kitty in the car park eating rubbish in the road. Clip 14 - VW Touran driver must've thought the red light was for them but it was for the right turners. Wakey wakey! Clip 15 - Citroen C5 turning out of side road misjudges the angle and swings wide. Seemed a bit closer in person. Clip 16 - Another chicken out for a stroll. Clip 17 - Fiat Multipla can't hold their lane and merge in front of a fast-approaching rigid truck. Clip 18 - Land Rover runs the red light, then I have to try and avoid a huge fuel spill that went on for a while. Fuel on wet roads is a biker's worst enemy! Clip 19 - This happens a lot here - drivers confusing the filter light for their light. Clip 20 - Scooter sharply cuts up the bus instead of merging like a normal person. iPod Touch clips: Clip 21 - Daydreaming motorcyclist almost rear ends the Jeep. Everyone had stopped because a car was scared to pass the bus. Clip 22 - Van doesn't yield/give way to oncoming traffic. Clip 23 - Me being too horn-happy and not judging the situation. I was doing a shoulder check as I moved right and looked back to see my green light and a Merc entering the intersection. Clip 24 - Ped on the right stands at the crossing waiting for a formal invitation. I nod him forward and he waves thanks. Clip 25 - I miss my light because the Vauxhall Astra driver in front of the van is asleep. Contour Roam 2 Clips: Clip 26 - Scooter rider thinks just because it's 5am it's okay to ignore a no right turn. Clip 27 - Triumph Herald with delightful music. Then an ambulance comes screaming round the corner. Clip 28 - I get stuck in a deep puddle full of sludge and oil from the petrol station. Wheel-spinning a 125cc is a rare occurrence. Clip 29 - There's no one behind me but the construction worker walks across my path. Clip 30 - I stop for a pair of ambulances then my light turns red. It was safe for me to continue turning as cross traffic hadn't moved yet. Clip 31 - Nobody likes a green sitter. Van in front and car behind me honk, then I join in just for lolz. Clip 32 - I thought those Mercs had power folding mirrors? Clip 33 - Woman in Land Rover pulls out and scares the Merc driver in front of me. I'm just too nice and let her out. Clip 34 - White Range Rover Sport rides the line. When the light turns green they cut across the entire roundabout. Wet lens. Clip 35 - Generally dumb driving by everyone, which is probably why this road is always jammed. My favourite was the person in the Merc A-Class who did a dodgy 3-point-U-turn to avoid blocking the intersection. Clip 36 - UPS van stopped in the road. Not positioned as if he's pulled over and also has no indicator or hazards on. Clip 37, 38, 39 - a few cars jumping out from behind objects, all captured during one trip. Clip 40 - Quick random clip. Clip 41 - Dumb pedestrian on the phone strolls across the road in front of oncoming VW Golf and then me (literally 10ft from the crossing). I honked late to try and sh#t them up a bit ;) Clip 42 - Indicators are great, y'know? Clip 43 - Dustcart blocks the entrance and people honk, then I give them a piece of my horn. Clip 44 - Confusion: I flash van but they're looking away from me. I assume they didn't see me so continue but they go anyway. Ford honks for some reason. Clip 45 - Bin truck slowly pulls out in front of us. Clip 46 - Van cuts across the Merc but they don't seem fazed. Clip 47 - Articulated lorry doing a U-turn on these tiny streets. Impressive turning radius! Clip 48 - Do I know you? Clip 49 - Vauxhall Vectra waits at non existent line and pedestrians are crossing when they have a red man. Poorly designed junction. Clip 50 - Hilux driver reverses to have a chin wag with someone he knows.
