'Comanche’ Marines Execute An Amphibious Raid

Feb. 4, 2023 - U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct a daytime raid at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The motorized infantry raid was the culminating event for MEUEX II, following Amphibious Squadron/Marine Expeditionary Unit Integrated Training (PMINT). The amphibious raid integrated multiple elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force with live-fire events and showcased the MEU’s ability to conduct ship-to-shore maneuver and secure a beach landing site.
