Breaking News | Delhi Liquor Scam: Manish Sisodia's Judicial Custody Extended Till April 3

Breaking News: Manish Sisodia, AAP leader and former deputy chief minister of Delhi, had his judicial custody extended by a Delhi court on Monday by 14 days, until April 3. This was in response to a case that the CBI had filed regarding alleged irregularities in the implementation of the city's now-scrapped liquor policy. A city court had earlier on Friday prolonged the ED's custody of the senior AAP leader until March 22 after finding that the accused must be physically held in order to continue conducting effective interrogations. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) detained Sisodia on February 26 in connection with a money laundering case involving the excise policy after questioning him for over eight hours.
