The Hubei provincial government holds a press conference on the latest of the novel coronavirus control. As the number of the confirmed new coronavirus cases in Hubei has increased dramatically, China sent thousands of media staff to the province from across the country to aid the coronavirus control. Two new hospitals are under construction in Wuhan City, which are scheduled to be completed on February 2 and February 5, respectively. The two hospitals are expected to provide 2,300 beds for infected patients. The World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General said on Monday the WHO is fully confident in China's ability to prevent and control the disease.
