It's been a year since they last met. They had another score to settle against each other. ---------- For me, there wasn't too much strategy to use here, since I wasn't focused on a perfect. If you are able to hit him, just keep hitting him until he decides to block your attack. From there, he's likely going to counterattack. I would prefer to use a Trickster Action against that if you're not too comfortable with parrying it with a timed Royalguard action. Vergil's Dimensional Cut will cut right through an ordinary Royalguard block. ---------- This battle between brothers got pretty intense! As the rain stormed on, it forced Vergil's hair to droop down, making him look just like Dante. They seemed nearly equal in strength, but it was getting apparent that Dante was having trouble keeping up with Vergil's skill. After they locked blades, Vergil used his to knock Dante's out of his hands, only then to thrust his Yamato right through him, berating his for his lack of lust for power. To add further salt to the would, he stole Dante's amulet, and fixed his hair. Even as Dante tried to stand up once more, Vergil stabbed him back down with his own Rebellion sword. But this was the last straw that caused a devil to be triggered within Dante. Vergil was eager to fight him once more, but Arkham suggested that they both leave, instead, now that they have Dante's amulet. Dante was hellbent on hunting after him with his newly awakened Devil Trigger, but the damage he sustained from Vergil forced him back to the ground, soaked in a puddle of his own blood...
