In Indianapolis, we plucked up our courage and ventured into one of the classic American motels for a great price! This Midwestern city boasts not only motors, but also a wealth of Native American history. Indianapolis, also known as Indy, is a stable county-level city in the United States. It is the county seat of Marion County and the capital of the state of Indiana. At the 2018 census, it was the most populous city in the state and the 13th most populous city in the country with 872,680 residents.
