Optogenetics is a technique that can be used to control neurons that have been genetically modified to be sensitive to light. There's still a lot of testing to be done but this has the potential to eliminate any psychiatric or neurological disorders as long as we are able to find the Neural Networks that are responsible for those disorders. Disorders that once tormented billions may one day be a thing of the past!
