Gary Payton Almost Quadruple-Double (14pts,12rebs,14asts,6stls) Vs. MJ's Bulls (March 18, 1997)

Gary Payton almost records a triple double during a game against Jordan's Bulls during the 1996-97 NBA regular season. Payton also holds Jordan to 10/28 (36%) shooting from the field. Not surprising as Gary Payton often did a number on Jordan for most of his career in Seattle (now Oklahoma City). Gary Payton is also still to date the ONLY point guard in NBA history to win the DPOY (Defensive Player of Year) award in which he was awarded for the 1995-96 season. During the 1996 NBA Finals, Payton also held Jordan to not only his worst PPG average of 27.3, but also his worst FG percentage of 41.5%.
