This is an extraordinary time for our global community, as we slowly begin re-emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, our always resilient community continues to inspire and energize PPMD. Though we can’t connect in person this year, there was no way PPMD could let the summer go without hosting our Annual Conference. So this year, we are gathering virtually! From Wednesday, July 22 – Saturday, July 25, we will be offering the kind of robust, informative agenda you have come to expect from PPMD over the last 25 years. Critical Updates From clinical trial updates, to the latest advances in Duchenne care, to our work in Washington, D.C., and opportunities to engage with families across the country, this year’s Annual Conference will help you catch up on the incredible momentum still happening in our community while simultaneously reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. You will have access to leading researchers, scientists, physicians, clinicians, and therapists, just like always, and there will be numerous opportunities during the week of the meeting to connect with these experts virtually. The PPMD team is organizing a variety of social activities for the whole family so that your virtual conference has a few surprises, and some much needed laughs.
