OFFSHORE FISHING with Cpt. Wicho ft. Ivan - REEF DONKEYS

Part 1 of 2 videos, we're going offshore with Capt. Wicho (    / wicholee1   ) and Ivan in search of deep water fish on the M' SHELL. . A quick stop at the "bait shop" with a few drops of the hoop net and we're off to Chase Wild. We anchor up and soon find ourselves fighting Amber Jacks, a.k.a. REEF DONKEYS . They looked small enough to me to handle on my inshore gear so I pull out the 7 foot med/hvy ugly stik connected to a Penn Fierce II - 3k series spinning reel. It's spooled with 30# braid to a 50# leader. No problem right? Wrong - We caught the REEF Donkey that took 3 of us to bring to the boat.
