It may be inspirational and spiritual, but that doesn't equate with Biblical when you carefully study the Jesus she presents in this book, not to mention her conversion testimony with its absence of repentance, a fear of hell and a heart that puts her trust in the written word of God. It's as if she was saying the Bible is good and all that, but she desired an intimacy with the Lord that sounds more like throwing open a door to the fourth dimension and saying, come on down! "The Presence" is the title she gives Jesus, who is never called that in Scripture, and "The Presence" gives her additional words to live by. Ms. Young's work is a small tributary of an overflowing river of deceivers attempting to drown the church with feelings and experiences instead of going from glory to glory. The church goer keeps needing a bigger and bigger spiritual "high." Instead of believers being able to read and understand the Bible from the leading of the Holy Spirit, they go around thinking they have salvation because of a warm fuzzy feeling they received. People become Mormons many times because of a burning in their bosom! The power of salvation is in God's Word. The devil's MO seeks to eliminate God's word every chance he can. This book and others like it, such as "Conversations with God," calls you to clear your mind out so that you can hear from "god," all the while another spirit is speaking to you from the pages of his book.
