American journalist Andy Ngo has called on the mainstream media to condemn the actions of left-wing anti-fascist group Antifa. Speaking with talkRADIO's Julia Hartley-Brewer, he said: "They call themselves anti-fascist, but they're just anarchist communists." Mr Ngo, who has been covering Antifa protests in Portland, Oregon, added: "I look at what they preach, their literature and their actions and all of it points to a violent, extremist ideology movement."
