Navigation Overview Your vehicle's Navigation system has an Information Center with a color monitor. This is your Navigation system's control panel. Vehicle functions are viewed on a series of screens. To access and navigate the various screens you will use the joystick and ENTER control, the command buttons, and the BACK button. The Joystick and ENTER control is used to move around and select items on the screen. Navigate with the joystick, then push ENTER, in the center of this control to select an item. The DAY/ NIGHT button, displays alternate views of a day screen and a night screen. Push this button for more than two seconds to turn the DAY/ NIGHT display OFF or ON. Use the Joystick to adjust the brightness. The BACK button has three functions. If you press it during setup, it will cancel setup and return you to the previous screen. On some screens pressing the BACK button will finish the setup process by accepting the changes made. You can also use the BACK button to delete characters that have already been entered on character input screens. Press MAP to display your current location's map screen. Press GUIDE VOICE to repeat voice instructions to a particular guide point. Press ZOOM IN or ZOOM OUT to change the map scale. Your Navigation system starts when the ignition is in the ACC or ON position. Read the precautions, then press ENTER, in the center of the joystick.
