We left at 2:30am on Sunday trying to get the big eye bite first thing in the morning with no luck.. We did however find the "Man in the Blue suit".. Captain Chris along with mate Bryan, Tokyo Mike, and Bill all put in a group effort to release this estimated 600-700lb blue marlin after battling the beast for 3 hours. Bill did a great job putting in most of the battle himself with just a little help from Mike and Chris.. not much. Congrats to Bill on a great battle. Captain Chris did an outstanding job maneuvering "Blue Runner" avoiding some close calls with the props. After the release we had 3 white marlin in the spread that we just couldn't get hooked up on our tuna gear. All in all, a day none of us will forget!
