Chaos in Star Cup & Special Cup | Retro Rewind All Cup Tour #15

Today's video is Retro Rewind All Cup Tour #15, and we're continuing our journey through the Wii U tracks in Retro Rewind Mario Kart Wii Custom Track Pack. Last episode, we wrapped up the Mushroom Cup and Flower Cup, and now we're diving straight into the Star Cup and Special Cup. Because this is Retro Rewind, the tracks aren't the same order as Mario Kart 8 or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. This pack is mixes things up, and not every Star Cup or Special course from Mario Kart 8 or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is included - so expect some randomness and surprises along the way. This episode ended up being way more chaotic than the last one. Several tracks were noticeably more challenging, and one of the biggest standouts was Bowser Castle Wii U. The creator ZPL, tried to recreate the feel of the Mario Kart 8 version, but because Mario Kart Wii doesn't have anti gravity or gliders, the track held to be redesigned to fit MKWii's mechanics. Even though I've played Mario Kart Wii since 2012, this one caught me off guard. The layout changes, the missing MK8 features, and the way the track was adapted all made it tougher than expected - which is why I ended up finishing 2nd instead of 1st. But honestly, I respect the effort it took to make this track work in MKWii at all. If you enjoy seeing how modern tracks get reimagined inside Mario Kart Wii, this episode is definitely one of the more interesting ones. Channel Update: You may have noticed fewer uploads this week. Because this project is huge we want it to be amazing, we're temporarily reducing our upload frequency so we have the time and space to build this video properly.
